Our very own Mrs. Karla Murillo, ELD instructional aide, was selected by CSEA Chapter 684 as a recipient of a $500 scholarship towards continuing her education. She was presented with flowers and a beautiful certificate last week to celebrate this accomplishment! This scholarship will help her reach her goal of becoming a teacher. We were soooo excited to finally get to celebrate our Million Minutes in March reading challenge accomplishment with a very special performance by the awesome BMX guys today! Our Cougars had a blast and especially loved seeing them jump over Mrs. Adams during the show (Mrs. Adams was definitely far more nervous than they were, ha!)!
